Dr. Linda P. Brady, 10th Chancellor of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, came to UNCG in August 2008 from the University of Oregon, where she was provost and senior vice president. She has also held leadership and faculty roles at Georgia Tech, N.C. State University, the U.S. Military Academy, and Emory University.
At UNCG Chancellor Brady has led efforts to establish a new neighborhood designed to recapture the residential character of the university, launched an academic restructuring focused on raising the visibility and competitiveness of programs related to health and human development, and positioned intercollegiate athletics as an important element of the student experience.
